Now I’m Restored! Renewed! Revived!

I have been thanking God all day for what He’s been doing in my life and church this two and a half years. What a refreshment He’s brought to my life!

I was stuck in Psalm 80 today literally reading and praying it for over an hour in my office. Three times (vv. 3, 7, 19) Asaph prayed “Restore us, God; make your face shine on us, so that we may be saved.” Each time he called on God in an increasing way: God (v. 3), then God of Armies (v. 7), then Lord God of Armies (v. 19). Do you see his growing desperation?

Ours must grow as well!

I’ve been praying the three things Asaph asked God for in an increasing way all day:

1) Restore the broken
2) Shine on the hopeless
3) Save the lost

Would you join me in praying for God to restore the broken, shine on the hopeless, and save the lost? There’s so many people that need this!
