Stephen Harrison has been the Lead Pastor at Family Church since 2013. Stephen and Haley began dating as students in the youth ministry of Family Church and married in 2000. Stephen came on staff part time in 1996 as an associate youth pastor while in college and has served full-time at FC since 2000 in various roles (preschool, children, youth), becoming Associate Pastor in 2007.

Stephen oversees their three campuses, serves as campus pastor for White Hall campus, and led the launching of FC’s first church plant in Redfield in 2016 and second church plant in Pine Bluff in 2017.  Stephen ran a marathon (26.2 miles) in 2017 from the RF Campus to the PB Campus to raise money for the PB church plant.  Family Church has baptized 600+ new believers under his leadership since 2013.

Stephen attended Williams Baptist College and holds a BA in Biblical Studies from Ouachita Baptist University and an MA and an MDiv in Christian Leadership from Liberty University and is currently pursuing his DMin in Ministry Leadership.  He serves on the board of White Hall Food Pantry, Inc., Voices for Children, Hope of the Delta Crisis Pregnancy Center, and previously served on the boards of The CALL foster care and adoption ministry (Children of Arkansas Loved for a Lifetime) of Jefferson County and Pine Bluff Faith Community Coalition.  Stephen co-chairs the Delta Network Association of Arkansas which plants and revitalizes churches as well as does outreach in the delta of Arkansas.  The Harrison’s have two daughters, Kylee and Abby, and one son, Tate.

When not pastoring, Stephen enjoys running, cycling, kayak fishing, reading, writing, camping, fishing, and most importantly spending time with his wonderful family.
