What will you do with Jesus?

I was reading Matthew 27 this morning and saw what several people did with Jesus.

He was:

betrayed (Judas), rejected (Pharisees), avoided (Pilate’s wife), set up (chief priests and elders), abandoned (Pilate), mocked (crowd), beaten (soldiers), crucified (everyone), honored (centurion), received (one of thieves on cross), shown compassion (someone in crowd with something to drink), loved (women at tomb), shown generosity (Joseph of Arimathea), and shown suspicion (guards at tomb).

So many responses.

Same Jesus.

Pilate’s question is for us as well today. “Pilate said to them, ‘What then shall I do with Jesus who is called Christ?’” (Matthew 27:22).

Great question. What will we do with Jesus today?
