I was studying Stephen’s sermon in Acts 7 this morning, and he said this:
“You stiff-necked people, uncircumcised in heart and ears, you always resist the Holy Spirit. As your fathers did, so do you.” -Acts 7:51
Wow!
Questions:
- Are you stiff-necked? (Pride, stubborn, anti-God)
- Are you uncircumcised in the heart and ears? (Unbelieving, unsaved, Will not listen to God)
- Do you always resist the Holy Spirit? (Keep pushing God away, rejecting Jesus)
- Do you follow the patterns of men or God? (Man pleaser, crowd follower)
If yes to any, pray this:
Jesus, I repent for being prideful and stubborn. I’m sorry for not believing in you and not listening and following your leading. Instead of pushing you away, today, Instead of rejecting you, I want to receive and follow you as Savior and Lord. I desire to please you more than anyone else. Amen.
