“Jesus said, ‘Love the Lord your God with all your passion and prayer and intelligence.’ This is the most important, the first on any list.” – Matthew 22:37-38 MSG
Jesus gave us the most important command – Love God! He said it should be first on any and every list. Before you and I can learn to love others, love the church, love our spouses, love our kids, love our crazy cousins and nosey neighbors…we must first experience the Love of God in its fullest. This happens only if you give your life to Christ and make Him first. Then, the love you experience from and in Him can be extended to others.

Is Jesus your first love?Have you given your life fully to Christ?
What area of your life do you need to fully submit to Christ?
My Prayer:
Lord, help me to put You first in all things. I want to experience real love – the kind only You can give. You just don’t give it – You are love! And I love You with all of me…passion, prayer, and intelligence. Help me to always put You first on every list I have. In Jesus name I pray, AMEN.
